Our Story

East Bay Church is a growing church that has been serving our community for almost 50 years! and we believe the best chapters of our story are still being written.

Located on beautiful East Bay Boulevard between Navarre and Gulf Breeze, East Bay Church exists to help people encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and impact their world.

Founded in 1978 by Pastor David and Anne Lang as Midway First Assembly, our church faithfully served the Midway community for decades before entering a new season of revitalization.

In the summer of 2020, Pastor Stacy and Heidi Clearman answered God's call to lead East Bay Church. Through their faithful, bivocational leadership, the church embraced a renewed vision, adopted the name East Bay Church, and began a journey of revitalization that God has richly blessed.

Our official Relaunch on October 10, 2021, marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter. Since then, God has continued to bring growth, new families, transformed lives, and opportunities to serve our community and the nations. Together, we have given more than $100,000 to local and global missions and have become a testimony of God's faithfulness through church revitalization.

Today, as we honor Pastor Stacy and Heidi for their six years of faithful leadership and celebrate all God accomplished through their ministry, East Bay Church looks to the future with faith and expectation. We are grateful for the strong foundation they helped build and remain confident that the same God who has faithfully led us every step of the way will continue to guide our next chapter.
